Southern Pennsylvania District Church of the Brethren

CHARTER

Excerpts from the District Articles of Incorporation, filed May 25, 1958.

ARTICLE I
The name of the Corporation shall be Southern District of Pennsylvania Church
of the Brethren.

ARTICLE II
The current District Office address is 3375 Carlisle Road, Suite A, Gardners,

PA 17324 or its successor.

ARTICLE III

The purpose for which said Corporation is to be formed is as follows:
To promote, supervise, and carry out the mission of the Church of the Brethren

within the boundaries of Southern PA District which includes: Adams, Clinton,
Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Juniata, Perry, Snyder, Union, and York
counties in Pennsylvania, and such other areas as may become a part of the
Southern District of Pennsylvania.
The corporation does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit incidental or

otherwise to its members.

ARTICLE IV

The term for which the Corporation is to exist shall be perpetual.

ARTICLE V

The Corporation shall be organized upon a non-stock basis.
