NYC Staff

NYC '98 depends on many people working together so that everything runs smoothly. Some plan worship services, some work in the office, some are professional counseling or medical staff, and some are here to do everything and anything. We want you to get to know the NYC staff so that during the week you can recognize them for the work they do in their many capacities.

Steve Houten	Biographical
	Steve is an Indiana native and has served pastorates in the Cloverdale congregation in the Virlina District and the Akron Springfield congregation in Northern Ohio. Along with his wife, Lisa, they have two teenagers: Josh (15) and Erin (14). Steve has been involved in a variety of youth ministries, including Jr. and Sr. High workcamp coordinator, Youth Camp "Dean", planning committee for the pilot "FaithQuest" retreat. As a youth Steve served on the steering committee for NYC 74. Steve was most recently the dean of NYC 94 and enjoys a wide variety of sports as a participant, coach, and spectator.
