Outdoor Ministries Association is composed of Church of the Brethren camp directors and managers. We are an association of persons committed to the educational ministry of the Church of the Brethren camps, in partnership with congregations, districts, the denomination, and ecumenical groups. We support the total ministry of the church including education, evangelism, peace education, and stewardship of all resources.

This is our booth display at Annual Conference Display Booth showing candid photographs of our many activities taken at some of the camps, along with brochures and hand-out literature.


First you grab a balloon Game: Here is a little introduction exercise to help people get acquainted. First, you grab a balloon and then look for someone to pop it with.


Pop the balloon with a friend Game: After finding a willing partner, you place the balloon between yourselves and press on the balloon until it breaks.


Stand up as a group while holding a rope Game: This is a team-work building exercise. The idea is for the group to lift the rope up from the floor and keep it taunt, and it's not as easy as you might think.


Pass the ball from bag to bag without touching it Game: This routine requires dexterity and cooperation as well as team-building. Pass the tennis ball from one persons bag to the next persons bag without touching the ball.

  Annual Directors & Managers Retreat


Camp directors 1999 Annual Retreat to Falling Waters Retreat 1999 - Camp directors visit a house (Falling Waters) designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright for Edgar Kaufmann at Bear Run, Pennsylvania. This structures is considered a one of Wright's masterpieces.
